Visit the LDS Church’s temple

With more than 6,000 members and nearly 500,000 visitors annually, the LDS Church’s temple is one of the most visited buildings in America.

The temple is located in downtown Cedar City, right across from the city’s historic Chamber of Commerce. The location was chosen because it is centrally located between the Cedar City Visitors Center and the Utah State Capitol.

You can get to this site with a free shuttle that runs hourly between 8AM and 10PM (so plan ahead). You can even park your car at the visitor’s center and walk to the temple.

Play in the park

Cedar City is home to a large park, including a local playground and an outdoor basketball court. The park is perfect for kids of all ages, with plenty of sand and water toys to play in. But if you want to get away from the crowds, there are also trails that lead through the park without quite as many people around.

The park is located close to Utah Highway 40, so it’s easy for people to reach it from anywhere in the Salt Lake County area. If you’re planning a road trip and need some entertainment out of town, this is your spot!

Watch a movie at the Cedar City Cinema

The Cedar City Cinema is one of the oldest movie theaters in Utah. It’s also one of the smallest theaters in Utah, measuring just 13 feet long by 16 feet wide. But don’t let that intimidate you—you can still enjoy an old-fashioned movie and a snack!

Cedar City is known for its outdoor movies, but the local cinema is a great way to get people outdoors in the spring and summer. They have outdoor seating for up to 470 people, which makes it a great place to meet with family and friends after church on Sunday morning.

During the winter months, they offer drive-in movies with big screen TVs and air conditioning—perfect for watching your favorite blockbuster action movie!

The Cedar City Cinema was built as a memorial to World War II veterans who served at Camp Cedar City during World War II. During World War I, U.S. Cavalry units from Fort Douglas fought alongside American Indians against German forces in Mexico.

Camp Cedar City was located near present-day Mountain View near present-day Cedar City in what is now Farmington County, Utah. The camp was established by General Wesley Merritt after America entered World War I as part of an effort to train troops.

Take a fishing trip on the river

When Cedar City was first discovered, it was a small town. Consequently, it’s always been a popular place to go fishing. In fact, the river is home to some of the best fish in the world. In order to catch the fish here, you need to use your fishing rod and bait.

In addition to catching lots of fish on your own, you can also rent a boat—which is perfect if you’re trying to target your ideal customer who wants to take a vacation while they’re at Cedar City. You can also rent a boating guide as well so that you can help make sure that your customers don’t get too tired when they return home.

These farms produce 17 million pounds of food each year, including the meat and eggs consumed by Cedar City residents. Cedar City has one of the biggest chicken farms in Utah, which is named Hogg Farms.

Hogg Farms was founded in 1994 by Gary Hogg and his wife, Karen. Gary is a farmer at heart and had wanted to develop an operation to grow chickens for a long time. He came up with an idea — he would buy land on which to build a farm exclusively for raising chickens.

He then bought 100 acres of land in Cedar Creek Canyon near Cedar City, Utah — where most of his supply comes from — so he could start building his poultry farm right away.
