The yoga and meditation classes offered at the nearby Destin YMCA are perfect for a relaxing day. The classes are small and usually last around 30 minutes. You’ll learn how to control your breathing, relax your body, and find peace and relaxation in nature.

The USS Constitution Museum is one of our favorite options. This museum is devoted to the history of the United States Constitution and offers interactive exhibits, education opportunities, and more. It’s open Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm, and Saturday 9 am-4 pm.
The History Museum of Florida is another great option. This museum features exhibits on all aspects of Florida’s history, including its Seminole Wars and annexation by the United States. It’s open Monday-Friday 10 am-5 pm, and Saturday 10 am-4 pm.
The Miami Botanical Garden has a wide variety of exhibits on all things botanical, from flowers to plants to trees. It’s open Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm, and Saturday 9 am-4 pm.
The University of South Florida offers an excellent collection of art galleries and museums as well as a variety of educational opportunities. The university is open Monday-Thursday 10 am-6 pm, Friday 10 am-5 pm
